Careers

Archive invites curious, compassionate, and reflective therapists to join our growing practice.
Our team brings together therapists from psychodynamic and related approaches, integrating the humanities into our professional development. We serve a diverse range of clients, including private-pay individuals and clients at manufacturing sites across multiple U.S. states.
Our aims
Archive believes the best therapists are distinguished by their commitment to self-knowledge; the capacity to tolerate ambiguity; attunement to the unconscious parts of the psyche; sensitivity to the subtleties of language, gesture, and silence; the ability to think symbolically; as well as kindness, humility, organizational skill, and patience.
These qualities, paired with a rich understanding of human nature drawn from great theorists and practitioners, empirical research, and insights from literature, history, and philosophy, equip therapists to facilitate deep personal growth. We aim to embody these ideals personally and integrate them into the ongoing development of our company.

In the bigger picture, we believe offering good therapy is one of the best ways to contribute to a better society. Psychological growth underpins ethical maturity. Cultivating maturity—self-knowledge, responsibility for one’s darker side, wisdom in relationships, capacity for joy, relating to the greater whole beyond the ego, and the ability to live with ambivalence—is essential for getting better leaders, a wiser culture, and a flourishing society in the years ahead.
Benefits
Community
Therapy can be lonely—whether in private practice or at a larger platform, it's possible to miss the grounding that comes from ongoing collegial relationships. At Archive, we cultivate an environment of collaboration, curiosity, and mutual support. Our therapists are passionate about depth therapy, supportive of one another, and see themselves as always on a journey of growth. We also invite therapists to suggest ways in which Archive can grow, supporting them to pursue projects they are passionate about alongside colleagues and our administrative team.

Learning
Many of us love exploring the psyche and the thinkers who have illuminated it, but this often fades after training. At Archive, we aim to continue the excitement of learning and bring it into our daily work. Our therapists engage in an in-house humanities course. We read works like The Epic of Gilgamesh and The Death of Ivan Ilyich, using personal, imaginative, and therapeutic lenses on reading, to deepen self-knowledge and clinical insight.
Clients
In addition to private-pay clients, Archive provides therapy in 23 U.S. manufacturing sites and 24 in Mexico, offering care to underserved workers who might not otherwise access psychotherapy. Clients in our clinics bring unique therapeutic needs, and we’ve found strong interest in depth approaches. Engaging with a diverse clientele challenges therapists to refine technique and language, broadening their expertise in ways they find deeply rewarding.. All work is supported by regular case consultations and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Support
Archive handles professional insurance, credentialing, licensing fees, marketing, administrative tasks, IT support, and equipment and software for remote therapy. Our benefits include healthcare coverage with Aetna (covering 80% for employees, 25% for dependents); vision, dental, and life insurance fully covered through Guardian; a 401(k) plan, parental leave, an annual $800 education allowance, and a weekly $35 reimbursement for personal therapy.
