Red Flags and Green Flags in Relationships
Red Flags and Green Flags in Dating. Five red flags and five green flags to watch out for on a date–from an emotional intelligence perspective:
Red flags:
1. They can’t endure any silence: they jump in when you pause
2. They have to win everything: they can’t tolerate being in a losing position
3. They are unable to switch gears to laugh about something
4. They never seem sad or quietly reflective
5. They don’t ask any questions
Green flags:
1. They can switch between sincerity and fun rather than being locked into one or the other
2. They ask you more about your feelings instead of trying to ‘console them away’
3. They get embarrassed about parts of their past selves (shows that they are growing)
4. They ask you questions that you enjoy thinking about
5. They are always curious rather than judgemental
